Ten lines. Make something fun.

RGC Build Season, round one. Make something fun in ten lines, then post it on Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, or Douyin. Every week, three go on the homepage with your name on them.

Round one · November 1–30, 2026

Three steps to get it out there

No setup. One fun idea and ten lines are enough to begin.

  1. Write ten lines

Open the Playground and remix an example. If it runs, it counts.

    Open the Playground →
  2. Make a poster

Hit Share to get a poster of your work. Post it with the link in your first line, and anyone can open it to see the code and sign in to run it.

    Open this example →
  3. Post it

Post a note on Xiaohongshu, a video or update on Bilibili, or a photo post on Douyin with #RGCBuildSeason, then share your link on the forum.

Say hi on the forum →

Post it, or nobody sees it

Three platforms, three ways to tell it. Pick the one you use, copy the text, and post.

I fixed my decision fatigue with ten lines of code

Every day I spend ten minutes deciding what to eat. So I wrote a program to decide for me. One tap, one random answer. Decision fatigue: solved. It is written in RGC. Open the link to see the code, sign in to run it. What should yours decide for you? Tell me in the comments. #RGCBuildSeason #RGC #LearnToCode #Python #IndieDev

  • Use the share poster as the first image and the output as the second.
  • Say what it does in the title. That gets more clicks than the tech stack.
  • Put the link in the first line so people can open it right away.

Every week, we put good work in front

Questions you might have

Do I need to know RGC?

No. If you know Python, you can read it. Start from a Playground example and change it.

Does it have to be ten lines?

Ten lines is the challenge. Longer entries are welcome too. Make the thing first.

Do I need a GitHub account?

You can write, make a poster, and share a link without one. Running your program requires signing in with GitHub.

Can I post somewhere else?

Yes. The Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, and Douyin templates are ready to copy. Anywhere else, use #RGCBuildSeason.

Are there prizes?

Round one is about visibility: weekly features, your name on the site, and an official collection. No cash prizes, but real developers will see your work.

How will I know if I was featured?

We announce the weekly picks on the RGC community and blog every Friday, and tag you in the post.

Ten lines is enough.

Write it now. Post it today.
